HHS Health Literacy Editorial
Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) sent this bulletin at 01/10/2013 05:54 PM ESTThe Journal of Health Communication has published an editorial by HHS Assistant Secretary for Health Howard Koh and collaborators at AHRQ, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and the Office of Disease Prevention and Health Promotion. “Toward a Systems Approach to Health Literacy Research” notes that recent policy innovations present unique opportunities for research on health care systems and health literacy. In particular, the authors suggest research questions relevant to person-centered care and health care reform.
