BRFSS Conference: Abstract Submission: Instructions | CDC

Thinking about submitting an abstract for display at this year’s Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) conference March 23-27?
Develop your abstract into an article and submit it to Preventing Chronic Disease (PCD) for publication. The deadline for BRFSS conference submissions is February 15, but PCD is always taking article submissions. Submit an Abstract for Oral and Poster Presentations

The Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) Conference Committee invites the submission of abstracts to be presented in oral and poster sessions at the 30th BRFSS Conference. Abstracts should provide a summary of work in one of the following or related categories and be no more than 250 words (1667 characters) for the body of the text.
  • Innovations in survey methodology and analytical methods
  • Psychosocial determinants of health
  • Chronic diseases or conditions
  • Health disparities
  • Emerging health issues
  • Environmental determinants of health
  • Health care access and preventive services
  • Health risk behaviors
  • Health policy decisions
  • Economic impact on health
