Introducing Blue Button Plus — An Implementation Guide for Developers and Data Holders

The Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology (ONC) is a cooperative agreement partner of National eHealth Collaborative (NeHC).

Program Description:

Blue Button Plus is a blueprint for the structured and secure transmission of personal health data on behalf of an individual consumer. It meets and builds on the view, download, and transmit requirements in Meaningful Use Stage 2 for certified EHR technology. Over the past six months, through a public-private collaborative process and building off of Meaningful Use Stage 2 standards, ONC has developed common implementation guidance for providers, payers, and developers to implement Blue Button Plus. Join us on Tuesday, February 19 from 3:00-4:00PM EST to learn more about the guide and to ask questions.

FEATURING:
  • Pierce Graham-Jones, West Health Innovator-in-Residence, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services
  • Ryan Panchadsaram, Presidential Innovation Fellow, Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT
