ONC Governance Update

Join Dr. Farzad Mostashari and senior staff at ONC as they provide an update on ONC’s health information exchange governance activities. Staff will share details regarding funded cooperative agreements with Direct Trust and the NeYC EHR/HIE Interoperability Workgroup, HIE Governance Framework of Principles, and the National HIE Governance Forum. Participants will have the opportunity to provide input. ONC activities are intended to assist in advancing governance goals of nationwide health information exchange: increase interoperability, decrease the cost and complexity of exchange, and increase trust among participants to mobilize trusted exchange to support patient care.
