Dear CAHPS Health Plan Database Users and Submitters:

We are pleased to announce that, after the recent suspension of operations due to contracting delays, the CAHPS Health Plan Database will soon be reopening for submission and reporting of survey results.

The projected timeline for submission and reporting of Health Plan data is as follows:

• Submission period: late July 2013
• Online reporting: October 2013

The CAHPS Database supports the 5.0 and 5.0H versions of the following questionnaires for 2013 submission and reporting:

• Adult Medicaid
• Child Medicaid (or CHIP) Questionnaire without the Children with Chronic Conditions Item Set
• Child Medicaid (or CHIP) Questionnaire with the Children with Chronic Conditions Item Set

We will be accepting survey data for the above versions collected during the 3-quarter period from October 2012 through June of 2013.

Submission specifications and other documents (including Data Use Agreement) are available under Submitting Health Plan Data at: https://cahpsdatabase.ahrq.gov/.
