The Office of Minority Health and Health Equity (OMHHE) coordinates CDC activities for White House and Departmental Initiatives aimed at improving the ability of educational institutions to serve racial and ethnic minorities and addressing the health and human service concerns of racialand ethnic minorities.

Initiative to Eliminate Racial and Ethnic Disparities in Health 
Racial & Ethnic Approaches to Community Health Across the U.S. (REACH U.S.)

Through REACH U.S., a national, multilevel program, CDC supports 40 grantee partners that establish community-based programs and culturally-appropriate interventions to eliminate health disparities.
