AHRQ HCUPnet Hospital Statistics--Help Us Help You!

AHRQ HCUPnet Hospital Statistics--Help Us Help You!

Participants Needed for Interview about HCUPnet!
Familiar with HCUP? Participate in a one-hour usability interview about HCUPnet and receive possible compensation, if selected.
On behalf of the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), American Institutes for Research (AIR) is conducting a Web site usability study of HCUPnet, the online query system that is part of the Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project (HCUP). HCUPnet provides information and data to facilitate a better understanding of the use of hospital and emergency department services.
We are recruiting data analysts, researchers, and others who would be interested in participating in a 1-hour telephone interview reviewing the HCUPnet Web site.

Participants will complete the usability interviews on their own computer over the Internet. The interview will focus on topics such as navigation, information searches, content organization, areas for content expansion, and display of results. Your feedback will be anonymous, and you may be compensated for your time.

Study Participation Requirements:
  • You are familiar with HCUP.
  • You have access to a telephone and a computer with Internet connectivity.
  • You are able to schedule and complete the 1-hour usability interview before August 15, 2014.
Contact Us by August 1, 2014!

If you are interested in participating and meet these requirements, please contact Erin Kavanagh at (301) 592-3338 or at
ekavanagh@air.org by Tuesday, August 1, 2014. Because only a limited number of participants can be accepted, not all interested respondents will be asked to participate in the usability study. Thank you for your interest.
