The FH Foundation will host the 2014 Familial Hypercholesterolemia Global Summit: Bridging the Gaps on October 13th – 14th in New York, New York.

The 2014 FH Global Summit will focus on “Bridging the Gaps” in care for those living with familial hypercholesterolemia (FH). The largest issues worldwide continue to be the underdiagnosis of FH and the underappreciation of the effects of FH by individuals, families, and healthcare providers. Perhaps even more importantly, cascade (family-based) screening is not performed, potentially leading to catastrophic outcomes. The FH Foundation is deeply committed to strategically addressing these issues.

The 2014 FH Global Summit will include representatives from the healthcare arena, academia, government, patient advocacy groups, and industry. Attendance is by invitation only.
