The September National Vaccine Advisory Committee (NVAC) meeting will  take placeSeptember 9-10, 2014 in the Hubert Humphrey Building (HHH), Room 800. The meeting agenda is posted on the NVAC website at http://www.hhs.gov/nvpo/nvac, including information on how to view the meeting via webcast.

Some of the highlights of the meeting include:

• A presentation by Mr. Michael Daley on plans by the NVPO to conduct a mid-course review of the 2010 National Vaccine Plan
• Dr. Karin Bok will introduce a session on vaccine safety and an overview of the current available vaccine safety systems for monitoring vaccine safety following maternal immunization.
• The NVAC working group on Vaccine Confidence will present their findings and recommendations for NVAC consideration and discussion.
