New Meaningful Use Data

We published a pair of new issue briefs about meaningful use. The first focuses on Meaningful Use Stage 1 readiness in a variety of areas around the nation, including Seattle, Washington, Lubbock, Texas, New Haven, Connecticut and Topeka, Kansas (the data are from 2012). The second looks at Meaningful Use Stage 2 readiness in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Worcester, Massachusetts, Macon, Georgia and Sacramento, California and the data are from late last year. 

2014 Edition Release 2 Final Rule Webinar

Federal Advisory Committee Schedule (all times EDT)

Wednesday The JASON Task Force meets from 11 to 1pm. The meeting details are already available and the agenda will be posted soon.
FridayThe Health IT Policy Committee's Governance Subgroup meets from noon to 2pm.

Cypress v2.5 Released

Cypress v2.5 is now available for testing the April 2014 updates to the Meaningful Use Stage 2 Eligible Hospital Clinical Quality Measures (CQMs) and the July 2014 updates to the Meaningful Use Stage 2 Eligible Professional CQMs. The new v2.5 release, v2.5 measure bundle, and release notes are available on the Cypress website. New features are highlighted on the Release Notes Tab.

So after the whirlwind National Health IT Week was over, our ONC peeps needed a breather and so the folks over at the Department of Veterans Affairs, who have our back, decided to blog about Blue Button on the Veterans Health Administration's blog! You can also read about how these Veterans are using #bluebutton to view, download and transmit their own health data on our Buzz Blog!
