Put your dollars towards savings - not penalties
Sunday is the last day to enroll in a health insurance plan for 2015. If you miss this deadline, you may not be able to get coverage until 2016. And while you may not get sick in 2015, if you don't have health insurance, you'll miss out onpreventive care services and pay a hefty fine when you file your federal income tax return next year.
The penalty you'll pay if you do not have coverage is either a percentage of your household income or a flat fee -- whichever is higher. This fee increases each year.

Stay healthy and find a coverage option in minutes that's right for you.

All Marketplace plans cover preventive care. Screenings, immunizations, and other preventive services are covered even if you haven’t met your deductible. Some health insurance plans cover other benefits like doctor visits and prescription drugs even if you haven’t met your deductible.
If you’re not enrolled in an insurance plan you don’t get these important free benefits, which can identify disease early and support good health.

Preventive services covered for free

Dozens of services are covered for all adults, women, and children. Preventive services covered at no cost from an in-network provider include:
  • Many vaccines and immunizations
  • Blood pressure and cholesterol screenings
  • Colorectal cancer screening
  • Mammograms
  • Well-woman care
  • Contraception
  • Many screenings for children, including vision and hearing
Plans must offer these services at no cost to you. This means they can’t charge acopayments or coinsurance, even if you haven’t met your deductible for the year.
Important: You must use a provider in your plan’s network to get these services for free.
