This analysis of data from the Keystone ICU project found that sites with a higher perceived safety climate were less likely to implement the intervention, perhaps due to complacency. The authors found that sites with greater organizational support were more likely to implement the program, highlighting the importance of optimizing, measuring, and reporting these contextual factors across all patient safety interventions.
