Materials Available: Training Updates for LTCH QRP

Training Event Materials Are Now Available for the Long Term Care Hospital Provider Training Event On November 19 and 20, 2015, in Baltimore, Md. The materials are available in the Downloads section of the LTCH QRP Training webpage at https://www.cms.gov/Medicare/Quality-Initiatives-Patient-Assessment-Instruments/LTCH-Quality-Reporting/LTCH-Quality-Reporting-Training.htmlPlease note that CMS will not be providing copies of the presentations. Attendees are responsible for printing their own copies and bringing them to the event. Internet access will not be available during the training sessions.


Long Term Care Hospital Provider Training Event in Baltimore, MD (web-streaming not available)

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will be hosting a 2-day training event on Thursday, November 19, and Friday, November 20, 2015, at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront hotel in Baltimore, MD.  The event will start at 8:45 a.m. ET and end at 5:00 p.m. ET each day and will be open to all Long-Term Care Hospital (LTCH) providers, associations, and organizations.

The focus of the train-the-trainer training hosted by CMS on November 19, 2015, is to provide LTCHs with assessment-based data collection instructions and updates associated with the changes in the April 1, 2016 release of the LTCH CARE Data Set  V 3.0 and  other reporting requirements of the LTCH Quality Reporting Program (QRP).
  
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will present on November 20, 2015, on current and new quality measures as well as the use of the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN) for submitting data associated with these measures.
