Attending the HIMSS Connected Health Summit on Monday? Check out our fireside chat (#ONCFireside) beginning at 11:30 a.m. On stage will be Lucia Savage (@SavageLucia), our chief privacy officer; Steve Posnack (@HealthIT_Policy), director of the Office of Standards and Technology; Lana Moriarty (@LMoriarty1), director of the Office of Consumer eHealth; and Elise Sweeney Anthony, our acting director for the Office of Policy. The conference is an all-inclusive opportunity for learning, sharing and engaging in how technology enables the positive transformation of this critical area of health and health care.

Rural Health IT Funding Workshops in Kentucky and Tennessee

If you or your organization would like to team with federal agencies and participate in HIMSS 2016 Government interoperability showcase, Sands Convention Center in Las Vegas Nevada, please contact; Bronwen Watkins-Pitchford,bpitchford@imss.org and Eric Larson, eric.larson@hhs.gov.  The deadline to submit your request is November 17, 2015. Once again, the Interoperability Showcase at HIMSS 2016 will bring together over 10,000 visitors from the public and private sectors.  Be a part of this exciting opportunity to showcase! We are looking for a wide range of demonstrations - from query-based exchange, Direct Messaging and Open API to innovative applications and interfaces that enable the seamless use and sharing of health information among clinicians, consumers, payers, the public health community and the scientific community to advance better individual, community and population health.
