What’s New in December 2015

New performance data are available for the dashboards below.
Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER)
Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER)
  • CDER Dashboard:  CDER’s Drug Supply Chain Security Act Key Project was the most viewed key project in FY15 Q4.  This project promotes patient safety by enhancing the integrity and security of pharmaceutical supply chain through entities that handle and distribute human, finished, prescription drugs.
Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition (CFSAN)
  • CFSAN Dashboard: In FY15, the Office of Cosmetics and Color completed 100% of its color additive regulatory package reviews received via FDA's electronic Compliance Management System (CMS) within its specified timeframe. Timely reviews help to speed enforcement actions related to potentially violative color additives in food and cosmetics.
Center for Tobacco Products (CTP)
  • CTP Dashboard: CTP redesigned its dashboard to track performance measures that are aligned to their Strategic Areas that include: (1) Compliance and Enforcement; (2) Public Education; and (3) Science and Research.
Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM)
Office of the Commissioner (OC)
  • OC Administrative Offices Dashboard:  The FDA-wide Social Media Policy Key Project was completed and disseminated to FDA employees on November 9. It clearly defines processes and expectations for using social media on behalf of the Agency and for FDA employees’ personal capacity.  The policy will help enhance FDA’s already robust social media program with solid strategy, adherence guidelines, and examples of the other policies that govern these practices.
