Physician Compare and Hospital Compare Updates

CMS has released additional physician and hospital quality measures to help consumers make informed health care decisions.
Physician Compare’s new measures focus on the quality of care provided by Medicare physicians and other health care professionals.
Hospital Compare now includes information on more than 100 quality measures and over 4,000 hospitals, so patients and family members can compare multiple hospitals on their performance.

Medicare Learning Series – IMPACT Act Overview
February 11, 2016                 1:00 – 2:30 pm ET
The National Training Program team will host CMS subject matter experts who will provide an overview of the Improving Medicare Post-Acute Care Transformation (IMPACT) Act. The IMPACT Act requires long-term care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health agencies, and inpatient rehabilitation facilities to report standardized patient assessment data on quality measures, resource use, and other measures.
