On December 22, 2015, the White House released
The National Action Plan for Combating Multidrug-Resistant Tuberculosis (MDR-TB).
The National Action Plan is a call to action for organizations and
nations around the world to fight a deadly disease that kills more
than 4,000 people every day.

TB kills more adults around the world than any other
infectious disease, claiming 1.5 million lives each year.
MDR-TB is now present in almost every country in the world,
including the United States. The National Action Plan is an
effort to articulate a comprehensive strategy, and to mobilize
political will and commitment from bilateral and multilateral
donor partners, private-sector partners, and governments of all
affected countries.

The launch of the National Action Plan is open and free
to the public. If you would like to join us, please RSVP.
