The National Center for Injury Prevention and Control (NCIPC) Board of Scientific Counselors (BSC) will meet on Thursday, January 28, 2016 to discuss the draft CDC Guideline for Prescribing Opioids for Chronic Pain, and to hear observations formulated and shared by the Opioid Guideline Workgroup. There will be 90 minutes allotted for public comment during this meeting. Please refer to the Federal Register Notice for further information including specific instructions on how to pre-register to share public comment either in person or by phone. Pre-registration for public comment must be submitted by Monday, January 18, 2016.
