I am pleased to announce that submissions are now open for the brand new open accessjournal, Translational Medicine Communications.
Translational Medicine Communications is led by Editor-in-Chief Francesco Marincola of Sidra Medical and Research Center, and supported by an esteemed Editorial Board. It is the companion journal to Journal of Translational Medicine.
About the journal
Translational Medicine Communications aims to publish open access research, as well as review, methodology and protocol articles that facilitate the communication between basic and clinical science.
The journal covers all areas of translational medicine but also has several special sections:

About the Editor-in-Chief
Dr. Francesco M. MarincolaDr. Francesco M. Marincola, MD, FACS, is the inaugural Chief Research Officer of Sidra Medical and Research Center, a unique hospital and research center in Doha, Qatar. Dr. Marincola joined Sidra from the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), where he held the positions of Chief of the Infectious Disease and Immunogenetics Section (IDIS) and Tenured Senior Investigator. He was also Director or the Immunogenetics Program, Department of Transfusion Medicine, Director of the Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies (FOCIS) Center for Excellence and Co-Director of the Trans-NIH Center for Human Immunology.
He is President of the Society for the Immunotherapy of Cancer and President of the International Society for Translational Medicine.
