Surgeon agreement at the time of handover, a prospective cohort study.

Handoffs remain a leading concern in patient safety. In this small study involving six staff surgeons at a teaching hospital, surgeons who assumed the care of a patient infrequently disagreed with the major management plans handed over by their colleagues.
