ONC 2016 Annual Meeting
Register Now for the 2016 ONC Annual Meeting
Registration is open for the 2016 ONC Annual Meeting: “Committed to Better Health through IT.” The Annual Meeting provides an opportunity for our public and private sector partners to discuss ways to leverage health IT to achieve better care, smarter spending, and healthier people. Stay tuned for theat-a-glance agenda, which will be available in the coming week!

Join Us at Health Datapalooza | May 8-11
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and ONC will be participating in this year’s Health Datapalooza. The event, a public and private movement to liberate and use health data, will be held in Washington, D.C. from May 8-11.
The last day, hosted by HHS, is focused on Privacy & Security as it relates to uses of health data and will be held at the Hubert H. Humphrey Building. The discussions will include representatives from consumer groups, government officials, and technology developers. Sessions also include international perspectives aimed at overcoming barriers in global technology development. Read more about it on the Health IT Buzz Blog!

Data Update: EHR Products Used for MU Attestation Public Use File
ONC updated the EHR Products Used for MU Attestation Public Use File (PUF) with Medicare EHR Incentive Program data through February 2016. The PUF contains a time series of all eligible hospital and professional attestations through the Medicare EHR Incentive Program and the certified health IT products reported by those providers for each program year. The dataset is available in open format with complete documentation and explanation of the data through the HealthIT.gov Dashboard. Download the data now!
FCC Task Force Conference on Broadband and Mental Health
May is Mental Health Month and on May 18, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will host  Broadband Prescriptions for Mental Health, an event that explores how connected environments can be used to improve mental health. 
The FCC’s Connect2Health Task Force will highlight how broadband-enabled health technologies can improve access to mental health care and will also discuss associated policy issues. The event's topics and demonstrations will include the role of broadband-enabled mental health solutions in providing greater access for underserved communities, the impact of connected environments on behavioral health and social isolation, the role of health IT, and more. The comment period on AHRQ’s Common Formats for Event Reporting – Hospital Version 2.0 ends Monday, May 9, 2016 at midnight. Comment now on the National Quality Forum’s site.
