MUST READ: "Making the Comprehensive Care Plan a Reality"
Explore this thought-provoking article in NEJM Catalyst by Alex Baker, Kelly Cronin, Patrick Conway, Dr. Karen DeSalvo, Rahul Rajkumar, and Matthew Press.
The care plan traditionally used in nursing has inspired interest in a new tool that is designed to support person-centered care by a multidisciplinary team: the comprehensive shared care plan(CSCP). As described by the National Partnership for Women and Families, the CSCP is not setting-specific; it uses information technology to enable the clinical team to collaborate seamlessly as they help address the full spectrum of the patient’s needs across all care settings and over time.
Lab US Realm Pilot Project Deadline Extended
The deadline for submissions to the Lab U.S. Realm Pilot Project has been extended to June 1, 2016.In recognition of the limited timeframe for action under this opportunity, acceptable proposals for this S&I Lab Project can focus on production of cost-savings studies that can be used to promote the adoption of the suite of Lab U.S. Realm Implementation Guides. Please contact Mike Flanigan for more information. Note that a non-binding letter of intent can be sent as soon as possible.
