Today on CDC’s Safe Healthcare Blog, John Letson, VP of plant operations at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK), shares MSK’s experiences with Legionella and how these situations shaped the Center’s long-term Legionella remediation and prevention approaches. 

Mitigation and monitoring can help ensure water safety. Although MSK has not experienced any Legionella “outbreaks,” their methodologies to proactively prevent this disease have been effective.
