Journal Article Describes Lessons Learned from Health Literacy Demonstration
In preparation for developing a second edition of the Health Literacy Universal Precautions Toolkit, AHRQ commissioned a demonstration of the toolkit in 12 diverse primary care practices. An article, published in the July/August 2016 issue of the Journal of Ambulatory Care Management, describes the implementation experiences of those practices. It also recounts how information from the demonstration was used to produce the 2nd edition of the toolkit and an accompanying implementation guide.
