MONAHRQ 7 Build 2 is Available for Download
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) is pleased to announce that MONAHRQ 7 Build 2 is available for download. Building on MONAHRQ 7, the Build 2 update includes the following:
- New Nursing Home Quality Measures — To augment existing comparison and profile reports, MONAHRQ 7 Build 2 can display results for six more measures of quality related to discharges and admissions, functional status, and medications.
- Overall Rating for Hospitals — Host Users can opt to display the new measure from CMS that shows an overall rating, expressed in one to five stars (five being the top score), to reflect combined ratings from 64 measures. If selected within MONAHRQ, this overall rating appears on each hospital’s profile report showing how well that hospital performs, on average, compared to other hospitals in the U.S.
- CMS Hospital and Nursing Home Compare Measure Updates – Host Users can report Hospital and Nursing Home ratings with the latest quarterly update released by CMS in August 2016.
- Minor Changes to Fix Bugs — Small issues associated with the MONAHRQ 7 application or the generated websites have been addressed in this software update.
