9:45 – 10:30 AM ET: Rock Stars of Blockchain in Healthcare
Acting National Coordinator Dr. Jon White and the Director of the Office of Standards and Technology, Steve Posnack, discuss advancing progress toward a safe and secure nationwide system of interoperable health IT.

10:00 – 11:00 AM ET: Session #158: Efforts to Assist Providers and Patients In Using Health IT for High Quality Care
The concept of using health IT to provide high quality care has transitioned from vision to reality over the last few years. This session will outline ONC’s tools and resources available to help providers and patients in the care delivery process, with a special focus on population and community health, workforce training, interoperability, consumer engagement, and practice transformation.

Join ONC Chief Nursing Officer Rebecca Freeman for a candid discussion on the value of nursing informatics and share your insight on how the nursing community can work together to address workflow and usability challenges and barriers.

12:00 – 12:45 PM ET: Listening Session: Trends and Challenges in Consumer Access and Use of Electronic Health Information
Share your key initiatives and efforts to advance consumer engagement and provide feedback on ONC’s tools and resources available to both providers and consumers in encouraging patient engagement through health IT.

Join ONC for an open discussion about security issues that arise in an app-enabled digital health information system. Participants are encouraged to share and discuss lessons learned from other internet-based industries on consumer rights to access their information, and more!

3:00 – 3:45 PM ET: Listening Session: Comprehensive Primary Care Plus Initiative
This listening session will engage stakeholders working on advanced health IT functionality under the Comprehensive Primary Care Plus model. ONC seeks your input on vendor best practices for working with providers to implement effective health IT solutions, challenges being encountered by vendors and practices, and suggestions for technical assistance that can be delivered by CMS’s Innovation Center and ONC.

4:00 – 4:45 PM ET: Listening Session: Understanding MACRA, the MACRA Data Strategy, and Advancing Care Information
ONC seeks your input on the future data needs for clinicians considering the recent changes brought about by MACRA, Advancing Care Information performance category of MIPS, and the use of certified health IT in Alternative Payment Models (APMs), and how standards implementation and certification can improve these programs.
