What do you YOU Think?
How we measure interoperability, as well as measuring the impacts of how information is flowing, are key priorities. The National Quality Forum (NQF), under guidance from ONC, is developing a measurement framework addressing these issues. NQF has published a draft of an environmental scan and is seeking input to make sure it is inclusive of key areas for measurement. Submit your comments to National Quality Forum (NQF) by Monday, February 13, 2017.
ONC Commemorates Heart Health Month with EHR Guides
February is Heart Health Month! Check out the Million Hearts® EHR Guides – step by step instructions for providers to leverage their EHRs to find, use and improve data on clinical quality measures. Ultimately, these guides facilitate early detection of at-risk patients, helping clinical teams across the country protect their patients from heart attacks, strokes and other cardiovascular events. ONC encourages collaboration from all EHR vendors interested in developing additional EHR Guides. For more information about developing your own guide, email MillionHeartsONC@hhs.gov
