10:00 – 10:45 AM ET:
Listening Session: Bringing Interoperable Medication Lists to Consumers
Join ONC’s Director of Standards and Technology, Steve Posnack, and several industry leaders to discuss FHIR-based solutions that allow individuals to access and share medication lists. Industry leaders will provide a brief demonstration followed by an all participant discussion on current and future medication list functionalities that could be deployed across their organizations to enable patients’ access to health information.

HIMSS17 Interoperability Showcase
Visit ONC's booth at the HIMSS Interoperability Showcase featuring demonstrations that highlight ONC's nationwide interoperability objectives. The first vignette showcases the roles of Veterans Health Affairs and the United States Postal Service on how they enable patients to access their health information. The second vignette will demonstrate how federal agencies like the DoD, FDA, and the CDC access and report out health information. The third vignette will highlight some of the latest innovative solutions around accessing, reporting out, and exchanging health information.

11:00 – 11:45 AM ET:
Listening Session: Interoperability Measurement Across the Continuum of Care
ONC’s Seth Pazinski and Talisha Searcy will conduct a brief overview of its strategy related to interoperability measurements and seek participant feedback on ONC’s measurement strategy, particularly as it relates to some of the early work of the National Quality Forum.

Session #21: Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT (ONC) Town Hall
Join the ONC leadership team for an interactive session to learn more about the ongoing work to advance the national health IT agenda. ONC will engage the audience in an open dialog about its  efforts to build health IT as the foundation to transforming the nation’s health care system.

1:15 – 2:00 PM ET:
Listening Session: Safety, Interoperability, and Usability for the Clinical Community
Join ONC’s clinical leadership for a comprehensive discussion of safety, interoperability, and usability of health IT in the clinical community.  This session will seek feedback from the clinical community on safety issues related to data blocking, system and data interoperability, and usability for care team members.

3:00 – 3:30 PM ET:
Federal Health IT Pavilion: Connecting and Accelerating a FHIR App Ecosystem: Discovery Infrastructure for Clinical Health IT Apps Cooperative Agreement
ONC awarded a cooperative agreement to SMART Health IT to enhance the SMART App Gallery, a resource where developers share apps that use FHIR and SMART APIs and where health care providers can discover and compare apps. This demo highlights enhancements to the beta release and insights about the healthcare app ecosystem.
