Registration Open: In-Person Home Health QRP Provider Training, Baltimore, MD, on May 3 and 4, 2017

CMS Open Door Forum

CMS is hosting a 2-day in-person training event on Wednesday, May 3, 2017, and Thursday, May 4, 2017, at the Radisson Hotel Baltimore Downtown-Inner Harbor, 101 West Fayette Street, Baltimore, MD 21201. Please note: This training is being offered in-person only and will not be webcast.
Day 1 training will begin on Wednesday, May 3, from 8:30 a.m. ET until 5:00 p.m. ET. An optional ‘Meet & Greet’ with CMS and presenters will immediately follow the Wednesday training from 5:00 to 5:30 p.m. ET. Day 2 training will begin on Thursday, May 4 at 8:30 a.m. ET and conclude at 4:30 p.m. ET.
The focus of this train-the-trainer event will be to provide Home Health Agencies (HHAs) with assessment-based data collection instructions and updates associated with the changes in the release of the Outcome and Assessment Information Set (OASIS) C2 which became effective on January 1, 2017, and other reporting requirements of the Home Health Quality Reporting Program. This important training will cover information presented during the November 2016 Home Health Training in Dallas, TX, including additional information on those topics presented in November that generated questions from the audience. It is assumed that attendees will have prior experience with the OASIS. Topics unrelated to the Home Health Quality Reporting Program will not be addressed in this training. The event is open to all HHA providers, associations, and organizations.
Registration for in-person training is limited to 250 people on a first-come, first-served basis. To make this training affordable, CMS has negotiated a discounted room rate with the hotel of $119 per night for the first 50 reservations per night and $129 per night for subsequent reservations.  The cutoff for discounted room rates is April 11, 2017. Instructions to reserve a hotel room will be in the confirmation email you will receive after you register.
