Online Event: ONC’s Interoperability in Action Day
Space is limited, so sign up today for ONC’s Inaugural Interoperability in Action Day! This free, virtual event will feature presentations and demonstrations highlighting ONC’s standards and technology progress in advancing the exchange of health information, as well as exciting developments in the field. The day will be broken into two sessions: the morning session will update you on the ONC App Challenges and the afternoon session will cover ongoing work and pilot activities.

Also as a reminder, the Privacy Policy Snapshot Challenge is still open for designers, developers, and health data privacy experts to create an online Model Privacy Notice (MPN) generator. Submissions are due Monday, April 10, 2017 with a total challenge prize purse of $35,000.

NEW: 2017 eCQM Annual Update Pre-Publication Document
The 2017 electronic clinical quality measure (eCQM) Annual Update Pre-Publication Document describes important standards, terminology, and measure changes in the 2017 eCQM Annual Update, slated for late spring 2017. The changes correspond to the 2018 reporting periods for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) quality reporting programs. This pre-release of expected changes and requirements should help you prepare for the 2018 reporting periods. Follow the electronic Clinical Quality Improvement (eCQI) Resource CenterCMS, and ONC email updates to receive announcements on the eCQM Annual Update publication and related supporting materials.
CMS RFI: Pediatric Alternative Payment Model Opportunities
CMS’ Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation (The Innovation Center), in partnership with the Center for Medicaid and CHIP Services (CMCS), is releasing a Request for Information (RFI) on the design of alternative payment models improving the health of children and youth covered by Medicaid and CHIP.
