Emergency Medical Services Week
In honor of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week, ONC is highlighting a number of EMS resources found on HealthIT.gov:

Patient Matching Algorithm Challenge Informational Webinars
The third and final Patient Matching Algorithm Challenge informational webinar is being held this Wednesday at 4pm ET. This webinar will provide details about the Patient Matching Algorithm Challenge we will be launching in June. New Open Data API on Health IT Dashboard 
ONC now provides application programming interface (API) access to open data through the Health IT Dashboard. The new Open Data API allows you to programmatically access the data, rather than download it. See the new API page for full documentation of the API and a list of accessible datasets.

ICYMI: Improving Visual Presentations of Health Information Webinar
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) will be hosting a webinar on how to improve the visual presentation of health data for patients, doctors, nurses and other health professionals. Topics will include how to effectively present electronic health record (EHR) clinical notes to clinicians and how clinicians can use navigators to document information within EHRs. Eligible professionals may earn 1.5 hours of free continuing education credits.
