June is Men’s Health Month

Men’s Health Month raises awareness of preventable health problems and encourages early detection and treatment of disease among men. June is the perfect time for men to talk to their doctor about getting screened for prostate cancer and colorectal cancer. For more information about Men’s Health Month, visit menshealthmonth.org/.

Medicare Part B covers prostate and colorectal cancer screenings for men beginning at age 50 or sooner with certain risk factors. For more information on all of the preventive screenings covered by Medicare, visit Medicare.gov/coverage/preventive-and-screening-services.html.
