Renewal of CMS Important Message from Medicare and Detailed Notice of Discharge

The Important Message from Medicare/IM (CMS-R-193), Detailed Notice of Discharge/DND (CMS 10066), and associated form instructions have been approved by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for renewal.  The notices can be found here:  https://www.cms.gov/Medicare/Medicare-General-Information/BNI/HospitalDischargeAppealNotices.html

Hospitals and Critical Access Hospitals must begin using the renewal notices no later than Monday, August 28, 2017.
