In 2015, there were more than 44,000 suicides in the United States, making it the 10th leading cause of death for all ages. National Suicide Prevention Week is September 10-16. “A Strategic Planning Approach to Suicide Prevention,” an online training from the Suicide Prevention Resource Center, teaches public health professionals how to effectively develop, implement, and evaluate suicide prevention activities.
