This webcast from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) features the new Value and Efficiency Supplemental Item Sets for the Surveys on Patient Safety Culture™ (SOPS™) for hospitals and medical offices. These supplemental item sets assess how well an organization’s culture supports value, efficiency, and waste reduction. Surveys are completed by clinical and nonclinical staff. The webcast features a hospital-based survey user’s experience implementing efficiency initiatives and improvements based on survey findings.

About the Surveys on Patient Safety Culture
The Surveys on Patient Safety Culture are a suite of surveys that assess provider and staff opinions about patient safety culture in hospitals, outpatient medical offices, nursing homes, community pharmacies, and ambulatory surgery centers. The patient safety culture surveys program at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) supports the development and promotion of patient safety culture surveys, toolkit materials, and comparative databases and provides technical assistance to users.
