Extension of Comment Period for The Least Burdensome Provisions: Concept and Principles Draft Guidance

The FDA is extending the comment period by 30 days for the draft guidance, The Least Burdensome Provisions: Concept and Principles, in response to requests for additional time to comment. Please submit comments on this guidance no later than March 15, 2018. Instructions for submitting comments can be found in the Federal Register under docket number FDA-2017-D-6702. Issued on December 15, 2017, the draft guidance describes the FDA’s use of the least burdensome approach to medical device regulation.
