The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), National Public Health Information Coalition (NPHIC) and The Society for Health Communication are thrilled to announce that we will be holding the 2018 National Conference on Health Communication, Marketing, and Media on September 11 – 13, 2018 in Atlanta, Georgia. A few weeks later than usual but hopefully, HotLanta will not be as hot in September. And this year, the conference location is moving to The Omni Atlanta Hotel at CNN Center. Details regarding conference and hotel registration will be announced in the coming weeks!
This annual conference brings together individuals representing academia, public health researchers and practitioners from federal and state government and the private sector, and provides a forum for collegial dialogue within and across these disciplines. Join us for this excellent opportunity to meet with colleagues and shape the future of health communication, marketing, and media practice.

Call for Abstracts
Abstract Submission website open as of Tuesday, March 27, 2018 with
a submission deadline of Monday, April 23, 2018
We invite abstracts (oral, poster and panel sessions) focused on the areas of health communication, social marketing, media, partnerships, public health policy communication, and other areas that relate to the multi-disciplinary nature of this conference. A wide diversity of submissions are encouraged, discussing advances in research and evaluation, theory and model development, and practice and program-based content.
Abstracts will be reviewed and considered for oral, poster, or panel presentations.
