Chief, Biostatistics Research Branch

The Division of Clinical Research is seeking an exceptional and motivated scientist to serve as the chief, Biostatistics Research Branch. The selected candidate will provide expert guidance to the NIAID director, other NIAID scientific leaders, and staff on the development and application of biostatistical techniques to research, especially in the design and conduct of critical clinical studies, trials, analyses, and reporting tools for national and international biomedical research programs.

The ideal candidates will possess expert knowledge of biostatistics and adaptive trial design in combination with broad and expert knowledge in the disciplines of infectious diseases, immunology, vaccinology, immunological imaging, mathematical biology, systems biology, and regulatory science.
